Remembrance Sunday
Residents of Brandon Village gathered for a short Remembrance Sunday service to pause, reflect and remember those who have lost their lives in service to our country.
The service was led by Rev Iain Rennie and was accompanied by a piper, whose music provided a moving and respectful backdrop to the act of remembrance.
It was a simple but poignant moment for the village to come together, honour past sacrifices and reflect quietly on their lasting significance.
Village Clean Up Day
Our second village clean up day of the Autumn took place on Saturday 1st November and saw a great turnout of villagers of all ages to help litter pick, clean overgrown areas and plant bulbs. We managed to scrub down the war memorial ready for Remembrance Sunday and you might have also noticed the poppies that have gone up on our lamp posts!

Brandon and Bretford Parish Council has one vacancy for those eligible to become a Parish Councillor.
Notice is hereby given that Brandon and Bretford Parish Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.
If you are interested in serving as a Parish Councillor, the application form is available here.
